REASONS WHY THE MANGROVES GET REMOVED OR DEGRADED?
We must find out who actually owns the land where we want to plant mangroves and ensure the plants are safe for several years. It is also important to find out what species of mangroves will thrive in the area. The easiest is to find an area that has been degraded in some way and simply plant the same species of mangroves that already grow there

In case you don’t plant the right variety, they will not grow. If the landowner does not grant permission to use the land for over 30 years he can cut them down. While some people have cut down mangroves in favor of prawn farming and general land reclamation.

The reason for mangrove gets removed and degraded are Water Pollution (oil spills and etc.), Fertilizer Runoff (pesticides is damaging the productive ecosystem ), Industrial Waste (threatening the biodiversity and mangrove ecosystem), Urbanization (increased population), Deforestation (logging, Charcoal making, timber), Aquaculture and Agriculture land making.
