For new beginners, this course aims to benefit vulnerable coastal communities and mobilize local action to reduce the rate of sea-level rise and the intensity of extreme weather, to the extent possible, through simple, natural protection tested over millions of years.
For professional planters, we will share technical know-how and practices from experienced planters on WIF’s large-scale projects, introducing applicable procedures and methodologies for obtaining carbon credits from a certified body, and sharing examples of local livelihood projects that benefit coastal communities.
