WHAT ARE MANGROVE SPECIES OF MODERATE SALINITY TOLERANCE?
Big rivers bring fresh water, making the water in the estuary less saline. The further away from the river, the more saline. Choose the best-adapted mangrove species according to salinity.

The article has told us about five mangrove species that can thrive under moderate salinity: Rhizophora apiculata, ceriops tagal, bruguiera gymnorrhiza, bruguiera cylindrica, and xylocarpus granatum.

The mangrove species of moderate salinity tolerance are Rhizophora apiculata, Ceriops tagal, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, Bruguiera cylindrica, Xylocarpus granatum. Because mangrove species differ depending on the salinity, if they have high salinity or low salinity rate, they have many effects on them. High salinity can cause osmotic stress and reduce the availability of water, resulting in stomatal closure and a reduced supply of carbon dioxide. Under extreme salinity stress, accelerated leaf mortality rates of mangrove seedlings are often accompanied by decreases in leaf production rates, finally leading to the deaths of plants.
